An NGO for development

- INTERED is an International Development Education Agency started in Spain in 1992
- It was founded as part of the Teresian Association, an International Catholic Lay Association that seeks to promote human development inspired by Christian values. It is an NGO open to all and working with all, regardless of belief, nationality, age, gender or ethnicity.
- Our mission is to work towards improving social justice, human rights, and co-operation among peoples throughout the world.
In addition to increasing their general development and autonomy,
educating women has a multiplying effect visible in their families,
communities and environments. InteRed offers:
- Locally-based discussion groups in which participants share their concerns on development issues.
- Solidarity days through which participants can learn more about individual INTERED projects and get involved in providing financial and wider support for this particular initiative.
- Meetings to identify possibilities for funding individual projects and to explore means of seeking financial support.
- Advice on how and where volunteers wishing to work in developing countries can obtain training, along with informal orientation support and help with Spanish language needs.
Opportunities for those who wish to work in an INTERED project, provided they meet the requirements and needs of the project.
