Encarnación Molina is honored at Veritas Institute in Dominican Republic


SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic.
Authorities and alumni of Veritas Institute in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, recognized the merits, commitment, and dedication to teaching of Encarnación Molina, a retired teacher and member of the Teresian Association who worked at the Institute and returned to this country after 35 years.


The Ministry of Education of Peru has granted a high award to Maria Leonor Romero Ochoa


LIMA, Peru.
Maria Leonor Romero Ochoa has been honored by the Ministry of Education of Peru with the following award: “Palmas magisteriales en el Grado de Amauta.” This is the highest recognition that a teacher may receive in Peru for his/her professional itinerary in favor of education in the country. Pedro Poveda Higher Institute of Educational Studies is born in the Dominican Republic


SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic.
On August 9, 2016, the National Council of Higher Education, Science and Technology, of Dominican Republic, approved the establishment of Pedro Poveda Higher Institute of Educational Studies (ISEP, in Spanish) proposed by Poveda Cultural Center, a pioneer in teacher training in the public sector in vulnerable contexts, and educational research, since 1985.
