Thursday 25th February saw the second major event celebrating 50 years of the Teresian School take place.

On 10 December, around the celebration of the Promulgation of Human Rights and the Ninth Congress on Prevention and attention to abuse against children and adolescents, the National Commission on Children and Adolescence recognized Pedro Poveda Foundation with an award for its respect for the rights of children and adolescents. This award recognizes the work Pedro Poveda Foundation performs on behalf of children and adolescents in Guatemala.

On Sunday 25 October 2015, the Pontifical Mission Library in Bethlehem celebrated its 45th anniversary on the campus of Bethlehem University. A Seminar organized by the Socio-Educational group of the Teresian Association in America, Educating in Difficult Times, was held in Guatemala City, from October 8-11. Among the participants were: twenty representatives from ten countries of the Americas, members of the SEP Commission, members of InteRed, of IEPS, and of the Critical Edition of the writings of Pedro Poveda. Pedro Poveda School in Jaén joins in the commemoration of the V Centenary of St. Teresa of Jesus with the development of a webquest for high school students.

A group of 8 students and three teachers of Li Ming High School have had an experience within the "International English Enhancement Program" in Tainan (Taiwan). The Teresian Association (TA) works in that Catholic school, run by Franciscan priests. Program activities have taken place in Manila (Philippines) from July 1-12, 2015, with great satisfaction of participants who have requested to return.

GUADIX (Granada), Spain.
Pedro Poveda Socio-Cultural Center has closed this academic year with a public exhibition at the premises of the Office of Information and Tourism in Guadix. It was inaugurated on June 8 with the attendance of a large audience from the city, members of the Municipal Corporation and Acting Mayor. A sample of major works of the workshop participants throughout the year are displayed. The Center, sponsored by the Teresian Association, continues to serve the city of Guadix since 1982. In the 2014-2015 Academic year, ninety-six women and forty children have participated and have regularly taken advantage of the educational offerings of the Center.
The Department of Economics and Social Sciences of Universidad Central of Venezuela has acknowledged the work done by college students in the Victoria Diez Socio-Educational Project. The volunteer work was done in the communities of Los Erazo and Anauco during 2014.
On the occasion of the celebration of the Universal Day of the Rights of the Child, November 20, InteRed reminds us that the full right to quality education is key to overcoming poverty, to make progress towards greater equality of opportunity, and to promote gender equality. InteRed also promotes the campaign "Do not sit idly by."

The Continental Seminar on the Socio-Educational proposal of the Teresian Association this year had the theme: "Citizenship, Memory and Education." It concluded with renewed thoughts, learning, and valuable experiences on October 19. Ten countries form Latin America participated in the event.
