The Nobel Peace Prize for 2014 was awarded jointly on 10 October to Malala Yousafzai and Kailash Satyarth, "for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education," as stated by the Committee. NGO InteRed and the other projects and schools of the Teresian Association join in the satisfaction expressed by most of society for such recognition.
On October 6, World Day of Architecture, the College of Architects of Valencia awarded a prize to the building of Santa Teresa- Vistahermosa School in Alicante, Spain.

Victoria Díez School, located in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, has celebrated its Twentieth Anniversary. The events took place in August, close to the feast of its Patroness. The celebrations began on August 7 with the presentation of "Victoria’s Week" during "cultural hour," which is a mandatory civic event every Monday and it is when national anthems are sung.

On June 26-28, the first Congress “On the Road to Inclusion,” organized by five schools of the Catholic Church which form the network “Road to Inclusion Schools,” will take place at the school of the Teresian Association in Santiago, Chile. San José School and Puertollano City Council have signed a collaboration agreement for the development of a project called "Pedro Poveda Gardens: a space for learning and fellowship." The City Council gave this name to these Gardens, which are located in front of the school, on the occasion of the canonization of Pedro Poveda and in gratitude for the educational work of the Teresian Association for so many years in Puertollano.

On March 30th, more than 600 participants in a sports competition of TA (Teresian Association) schools in Spain got together at Son Moix, Palma de Mallorca, EDIT 2014, for the closing ceremonies and to pass on the torch to the host school for next year.
The Castroverde-IEPS Foundation, in collaboration with Colleges of Teacher Education (ESCUNI and “Virgen de Europa”) and the Education Department of Burgos University, is conducting a research project to enhance multiple intelligences and the development of basic skills in primary school students.
Anna Maria Donnarumma, specialist in planning and project management, has done an interpretative reading of “Alrededor de un Proyecto,” (About a Project) which is a text written by St. Pedro Poveda and published in 1913. At a meeting held on December 3rd at the headquarters of "Villa Ximenes" of the Teresian Association in Rome, she presented it with the title of “Progettualitá educativa ed incidenza sociale in Pedro Poveda Castroverde. Una lettura interpretativa di “Alrededor de un Proyecto.” The author wanted to highlight the 100th anniversary of Poveda’s publication.
Ikasbide School of Bilbao reports on the actions taken during the first quarter of the school year (Northern hemisphere) on the educational proposal chosen, “Act with care, transform reality" (Errealitatea eraldatu, zaintzak biziz), with "the objective to intensify efforts to mobilize the educational community of the school within the framework of the campaign promoted by InteRed."
